January 3, 2006 – Local board-certified dermatologist, Amy Forman Taub, MD is featured in the third issue of NewBeauty magazine, due on newsstands January 3rd. Dr. Taub is one of only four dermatologists that were chosen to be featured in this region.
Dr. Taub has been in private practice since 1989. In January 2003, Dr. Taub founded Advanced Dermatology and Skinfo® Specialty Skincare Boutique in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Prior, Dr. Taub founded Skinfo.com, an information based skincare website that soon developed into its retail boutique for physician dispensed and cosmeceutical skincare products. Dr. Taub's practice philosophy is one of active collaboration with her patients. While she likes being on the cutting edge of technological and medical innovations, Dr. Taub carefully evaluates the scientific principles and safety of new treatments and procedures she makes available to her patients. Dr. Taub is also on faculty at Northwestern University Medical School and leads a monthly clinic teaching cosmetic dermatology and laser treatments, including BOTOX® Cosmetic and Injectable Filler Restylane™, to dermatology residents.
