Say Goodbye to Cellulite without injections or surgeries at Advanced Dermatology!
Lincolnshire, IL – MAY 2008 – Advanced Dermatology, owned and directed by Dr. Amy Forman Taub, now provides the new Cellulite procedure by Thermage to its patients. As one of the first practices in the Midwest to offer this procedure, Advanced Dermatology continues to be at the forefront of technological advancements.
The Cellulite procedure by Thermage uses the ThermaTip™ CL by Thermage and the ThermaCool® NXT™ system. This procedure is the newest non-invasive cellulite treatment cleared by the FDA for the temporary improvement in the appearance of cellulite.
The advanced deep heating ThermaTip™ CL by Thermage, Inc. rebuilds collagen and improves blood flow to the area helping to improve the smooth appearance of the skin's surface. The procedure is an excellent option for patients who do not want to experience the downtime, health risks or costs associated with more invasive procedures for cellulite.
According to a 2007 study by the Millennium Research Group, nearly 90 percent of women experience some level of cellulite, and demand for non-invasive cellulite treatments in the U.S. is expected to nearly double to over 750,000 procedures per year by 2011. Unfortunately, there is not much that rigorous exercise, diet efforts and creams can do to minimize the appearance of cellulite. Most non-surgical cellulite treatment methods such as Endermologie, TriActive or VelaSmooth require an extensive number of treatments and regular maintenance.
Finally in as little as a single treatment, patients looking to improve the appearance of cellulite on the abdomen, thighs and buttocks areas can turn to the new Cellulite procedure by Thermage without having to undergo surgery. A single treatment tightens existing collagen and stimulates new collagen growth. Improvements are immediately visible and continue up to six months. More treatments may be needed based on individual patient for advanced improvement. Results can last for years depending on skin condition and aging process, although maintenance is recommended on a 1-2 year basis.
Advanced Dermatology has over 5 years of treating cellulite with devices such as the VelaSmooth and VelaShape by Syneron and the Accent by Alma Lasers. “We are excited to have the ThermaTip™ CL available, and believe it is a real advance in our cellulite fighting arsenal of treatments. …” stated Dr. Taub.
