truSculpt® fleX is an FDA-approved device designed specifically for muscle conditioning.
The device delivers electrical currents that mimic the body’s own natural impulses to communicate to the muscles, resulting in strong muscle contractions
The ideal candidate for truSculpt® fleX is someone who is close to their ideal body weight and is already physically active, but who might want help increasing (or maintaining) their muscle tone and achieve a more sculpted physique. truSculpt® fleX can also be considered after truSculpt iD or CoolSculpting to help the removal of damaged fat and improve muscle definition.
truSculpt® fleX is an FDA-approved device designed specifically for muscle conditioning. The device delivers electrical currents that mimic the body’s own natural impulses to communicate to the muscles, resulting in strong muscle contractions. This allows for the stimulation of blood flow and metabolism within the muscles of a specific area. The result is increased definition and tone to areas like the abdomen or buttock. Basically, it is like going to the gym for a few hours with each treatment.
Similar to Emsculpt muscle stimulation treatments, truSculpt® fleX treatments build lean muscle mass around areas such as the abs, thighs, buttocks, and arms. After truSculpt® fleX treatments, one can expect a stronger, more toned, less bloated body. Additionally, treatments can help increase circulation and strength.
truSculpt® fleX side effects are minimal to none. Prior to the treatment all potential risks and side effects will be discussed with you by your medical provider and cosmetic coordinator. truSculpt® fleX is not advised for patients with implanted metal in the body or those that are pregnant. truSculpt® fleX is not advised patients under the age of 18.
The feeling during a truSculpt® fleX treatment is quite strange, as your muscles are contracting involuntarily. As the treatment progresses, the intensity of these contractions will slowly increase within your comfort level. It is similar to that feeling when you are putting all of your energy into those last few moments of a strength or cardio workout and it takes your breath away for a second. After a treatment, you may feel sore the next day like you had a tough work out the day before. If you are like me, you love that feeling.
truSculpt® fleX is a muscle stimulation device, meant to increase the strength and definition of large muscle groups in the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. The device causes a full muscular contraction while you are laying down over a 45-minute period, which is equivalent to multiple hours at the gym. The goal is to increase muscle definition as well as strength and even posture. Prior to truSculpt® fleX treatments, CoolSculpting or truSculpt® iD may be considered to reduce fat in conjunction with sculpting the body.
Yes. truSculpt® fleX can be used in combination with other non-surgical methods such as Thermage, TriPollarTM Apollo®, truSculpt® iD, Profound and CoolSculpting to achieve a full-body shaping and contoured transformation.
The treatment plan for truSculpt® fleX is either 4 or 6 treatments, depending on your activity level, with each treatment spaced 48 hours apart. Regular maintenance treatments are preferred- if you stopped going to the gym, you would lose the muscle strength and definition you worked so hard to achieve. Not only will you feel stronger after a treatment, but it is likely to motivate you to stay on a healthy physical and nutritional program, which is equally as important to maintain results.
Single treatments begin at $500. During a consultation, the number of treatments best suited for your results will be discussed with you by your provider. *Results vary with each individual.
