Advanced Dermatology introduces the newest product in dermal fillers, JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC, an FDA approved, soft, natural feeling, and long duration injectable, exclusively formulated for lip enhancement. VOLBELLA®, made by Allergan, the company behind the BOTOX® Cosmetic, was approved in Europe in 2011, and is distributed in over 70 countries.
The symmetry and volume of the lip is unique in every individual. Many patients may be nervous to add dermal filler into their lips, afraid of looking like overdone celebrities and their peers. VOLBELLA® addresses these concerns by subtly improving the shapeliness and smoothness of the lips without excessive volume. Advanced Dermatology is equipped with state-of-the-art products such as VOLBELLA®, and its medical providers are trained by Allergan and Dr. Taub, who is an Allergan trainer to other physicians nationwide. Dr. Taub has led and educated her team in the dermal filler evaluation and injection process to determine the best injection site, positioning of needle, and in choosing the right amount of filler. The expertise and daily injection appointments of Dr. Taub and her medical providers prepare them with skill and knowledge of the injection technique to give you a natural lip, with the right amount of fullness.

What is VOLBELLA®?
Volbella is a gel made up of VYCROSS®, a customized lighter blend of hyaluronic acids, a natural substance found in our bodies, proven to last up to one year in clinical studies in most patients. This gel is smoother than other dermal fillers making your lips feel soft and look natural.
Who is a candidate for VOLBELLA®?
Patients looking to achieve fuller lips as well as correcting perioral rhytids, wrinkles located around the mouth will see subtle, natural, yet effective results with VOLBELLA®. Thinner lips, upper lip lines, and downturned lip corners can make us appear older and tired. Restoring shape, smoothing the lips and subtly restoring lost volume while correcting fine lines can immediately change the way you look, making you look more healthy and youthful. Injecting JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC is a minimally invasive and long lasting solution to the aging process.
What areas can VOLBELLA® correct?
- Restore shapeliness of the lips

What is the downtime with VOLBELLA® ?
Similar to other injections, bruising and swelling may occur. However, many patients have reported a reduction of swelling due to the product's technology. Lidocaine is injected with the filler, numbing the lips temporarily, allowing for minimal discomfort and pain during the injection process.

Patients may also experience some swelling, bruising, mild redness and tenderness at the injection sites. Our medical providers will determine which course of post care is best for you, as well as, recommend a follow up visit to assess the treated area.
What if I bruise?
Advanced Dermatology offers complimentary same day, post procedure mineral makeup application, after your cosmetic procedure at it's skincare boutique, skinfo® Specialty Skincare Boutique.
