I’m excited to share that we have added a remarkable new technology to our practice, UltraClear®, an advanced resurfacing laser that allows us to rejuvenate the skin with impressive precision and much less downtime than traditional resurfacing devices. As many of you know, I am very selective about the technologies we bring into Advanced Dermatology. UltraClear® stood out for its safety profile, versatility, and scientifically supported results, and I’m thrilled to now offer it to our patients.

UltraClear® is a cold-fiber laser, meaning it delivers controlled resurfacing with significantly less heat. This approach makes the treatment more comfortable and allows the skin to heal more quickly. Patients can expect smoother texture, brighter tone, and an overall refreshed appearance, often with only one to three days of mild redness and peeling, especially with the lighter treatment options.

One of the biggest advantages of UltraClear® is the ability to precisely tailor the intensity of the treatment to your skin goals. Depending on your concerns and your available downtime, we can choose from several UltraClear® laser level options.

  • 3D Miracle Glow is the lightest UltraClear® treatment, offering a gentle, brief-downtime polish for a luminous glow. It is ideal for mild sun damage, early aging, prevention, melasma, or anyone seeking a fast refresh before an event.
  • Ultra delivers light to moderate rejuvenation. It helps improve skin tone, clarity, and early fine lines while still healing quickly. A higher tier of Ultra is more intensive and can be customized to treat more significant damage, including actinic keratoses.
  • UltraClear® is the signature mode, designed for both textural and surface renewal. It reduces fine lines, acne scars, pores, and irregular texture while also brightening the skin. This treatment provides moderate resurfacing with approximately five to seven days of recovery and faster, more comfortable healing than Fraxel® Dual.
  • Laser Coring is exclusive to this device and removes tissue for tightening and dramatic improvement in deep wrinkles or scars. It may be paired with Ultra or UltraClear® for comprehensive results.
  • Fully ablative precision treatments are available for severe wrinkles and advanced sun damage. With longer downtime, they provide transformative rejuvenation and dramatic results.

Because these treatments are customizable in depth and energy, we can tailor the procedure for everyone, whether you are looking for subtle radiance or more corrective resurfacing. Many patients notice smoother, brighter skin within the first week, with continued improvement over the following months as collagen rebuilds.
What I appreciate most is how quickly most people can return to normal activities. Even more advanced UltraClear® treatments have been documented to heal more rapidly than traditional CO2 resurfacing.
