Crow’s feet are amongst the most common wrinkles on the face. They are due to smiling and the fact that the repetitive motion of the skin leads to well worn grooves that can show up then even when the face is at rest. The easiest treatment for these wrinkles is botulinum toxin (Botox). This allows the muscles to relax which prevents the creasing from occurring. Botulinum toxin typically needs to be repeated 3 times per year. Other methods of treatments include laser resurfacing (CO2RE), which is highly effective. Eye creams are important to at least partially reverse loss of collagen and elastin and to continue to firm the area. Excellent eye creams include Neocutis Lumiere Bio-restorative Eye Cream with PSP, SkinCeuticals A.G.E. Eye Complex, Obagi ELASTIderm Eye Gel and skinfo Eye Complex. Most eye creams cannot completely reverse wrinkles.
