Wanting to prevent the aging process and do as much preventative treatments as possible. Patients want to look as natural as possible and not overdone. Patients want to still look like themselves. Most people are worried about what they are going to look like after the treatment and fear looking like some of the celebrities we see on television.
What are some of the key points you want to point out to patients about specific cosmetic treatments?
It starts with being preventative by using an SPF with a zinc oxide. A CORE4 skincare regimen, developed by Amy Forman Taub, MD, is key with maintaining and prevention! A botulinum toxin injection doesn't mean you will not look like you. People might not realize that so many of the people we encounter have had some type of cosmetic treatment done at a dermatologist or plastic surgeon's office. The key is to look natural and not overdone!
