Reloxin
Reloxin is a new botulinum toxin that we have heard is going to be approved by the FDA shortly. Many physicians who have administered it have told Dr. Taub anecdotally that it has a faster onset and lasts a little bit longer than BOTOX® Cosmetic. Although it has exactly the same toxin as BOTOX® Cosmetic, it has different proteins that complex, or surround, it. The company has explained that this may be because the complexing proteins facilitate the interaction with the toxin and the muscle.
